“AIRPLANE!” (1980) was written and directed by Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker. The film stars Robert Hays, Julie Hagerty, and Leslie Nielsen and is a story about a man afraid to fly who must ensure that a plane lands safely after the pilots become sick. “AIRPLANE!” was nominated for both Golden Globes and BAFTA award in 1981.
